Location. Porfyrios country house is located in the village of choirokoitia, cyprus, within six kilometres of the neolithic settlement of tenta kalavassos and 10 kilometres from the beach. Hotel features. Porfyrios country dwelling is set in a two-storey stone cottage-style property that surrounds and overlooks a confidential courtyard with a pool and sunbathing deck dotted with sun chairs and umbrellas. The porfyrios country dwelling is a self-catering residence. Guests receive a complimentary food carton on arrival. Meals may be eaten al fresco in the courtyard during superb weather. Apartments. There are six fully serviced one-bedroom suites at porfyrios country dwelling, all decorated in modern style, complemented by antique furniture and rustic architectural features. All are air-conditioned and augment to balconies overlooking the courtyard and pool. Amenities include fully equipped kitchens, satellite television, safes and showers. experienced tip. The village of choirokoitia is an archaeological landmark and the site of a neolithic settlement, offering a peek of a world that existed approximately 9, 000 years ago. The site is only partly recovered, and archaeological work is still ongoing.
