General Description
:
The villa-style complicated of le meridien limassol spa and resort is set on the beach in lush landscaped gardens which incorporate mosaic-tiled pools, stone arches, waterfalls, and passageways, and is located 15 kilometres from limassol. The 329 contemporary guestrooms are decorated in colourful kenzo fabrics and parquet floors and open onto balconies with sea or garden views. All are air-conditioned and include satellite televisio n, minibars, safes, tea and coffee making facilities, and marble the 3000 square metre thalassotherapy health spa is the only one of its kind in the eastern mediterranean. Guests are treated to a choice of four outdoor seawater pools, a hammam, two saunas, and a heated indoor seawater pool.Alongside these there are two heated indoor thalasso pools and an algae therapy centre with 34 treatment rooms and a relaxation area. This is surrounded by a freeform freshwater pool complete with waterfalls, grottoes and a lagoon. The health and fitness club also has a generously equipped gym with heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room, and offers a range of water sports including scuba with padi instructors, water skiing, wind surfing, jet skiing, and sailing on the hotel's own yacht. Leisure land is ideal for younger people and teenagers with a range of options including tennis, badminton, pool, mini golf, bowling centre and football pitch. Younger children are also well catered for by the penguin village where professional childcarers run a range of reading and hobby groups ranging from basic greek for children, to painting and clay modelling. And, as well as the usual bouncy castles, football, swimming pool and basketball this main idea built mini-club also has a mini amphitheatre and climbing walls. Evenings are just as action packed at 'theatro', an entertainments piazza offering professional stage, light and sound engineering, a seating area and bar where live concerts, shows and extravaganzas take place throughout the summer. Guests also have over 10 dining options including traditional cypriot, mediterranean, sushi, and asian /italian fusion dishes, and can dance into the early hours at fever disco. Gu ests can explore limassol centre 15 kilometres away. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus service to and from limassol at regular intervals. Larnaca airport 55 kilometres.

Le meridien limassol spa & resort provides a vast range of leisure and sporting facilities that includes swimming pools, a massive (3, 000 m-square) and unique thalassotherapy spa (le spa with 7 sea-water pools and 34 treatment rooms), beauty salon and barbers, a health and fitness club with a state-of-the-art gym, a water sports centre and leisure land, with a wealth of sports facilities including tennis, basketball, bowling, football, games room (may-october) and mini-golf. A supervised childrens club, penguin village, is open throughout the year. Babysitting can also be arranged by reception and cots can be placed in all bedrooms. The penguin village is open daily (10:00-18:00 summer; 10:00-16:00 winter) and is free of charge for children between 3 and 12 years old. There is also a creche (1 month-3 years) and baby-sitting is obtainable (extra charge). The hotel offers 6 bars and 8 restaurants (4 outdoor) including french, italian, cypriot & mediterranean, seafood, japanese cuisine, and all of which characteristic no-smoking sections. The hotel is proud of its amusement piazza which features live shows (june-october).
